  OK four stars: staff were great, WiFi was amazing, king size room was spacious, bathroom a little small but it is an old building. Since it is old it has all the stairs; stairs to go in to the building, to get to your room and more stairs which connect you to the restaurant downstairs. The connection was great cause you didn't need to go outside to get to the large continental hosted by the Thai restaurant downstairs. (Also super friendly and helpful.) Only reason for less than 5 is the room was too hot (no controls in the room to change the temp.), the walls and floor were thin (or we had a really excited elephant upstairs), and the sheets were not changed when we asked for them to be refreshed (not the end of the world, but we would have appreciated it.) Technically they deserve a 4.5. Definitely would want to go back again.

  My home away from home in Montreal. Quiet hotel and neighborhood, cozy rooms, beautiful decoration, super friendly staff, and close to Sherbrooke subway station. Never tried the breakfast because there is an awesome cafe inside the station where I go everyday. Not suitable for people who have problems going up the stairs (no elevator). Best value for my buck.

  We book the hotel as part of Montreal one day stay. Friendly front desk personnel. Rooms are super small, clean. Recently renovated. Not a walking distance to center of Montreal. Over all a positive experience. Ooh. Don't even think of using their parking space as it's located in nearby basement building that is so tiny.. just horrible.. I wouldn't park there.
