  I was "locked up" in this children's prison at the age of 11 by my social worker at the time who only wanted to harm our family life. Basically, my grandmother was my "mother" the one who raised me all my life and overnight they decided that she was too old to take care of me. PARENTS think twice before placing your child in a youth center! I experienced a lot of injustice. Really mean educators who don't care about you at all. I was locked up in solitary confinement for absurd reasons!! Once I spent the night throwing up "food allergy" I will always remember! The nice night lady gave me a 7up to help my heart aches and the next morning when the counselors came to wake me up for school, my room was filled with vomit and they still wanted to send me to school and I refused because I had barely slept 2 hours and I had been sick all night. They decided to send me to the boreal, the "prison" unit for those who don't listen. I was locked up there for 4 days because I was sick. And it really is a truly destabilizing children's prison! Subsequently I have several new educators and the horror! She didn't like me very much. The staff refused to let us eat our fill and told all kinds of bogus lies to the parents. School there is really not what you want for your child! A secondary 5 for them is equivalent to a secondary 2 in a public school! I had a lot of difficulty returning to public school because in the center we really learned the minimum and had a very intelligent child! I was a normal child who came out of this hell years later with real psychological problems caused by this establishment! Parents, please think twice before putting your children in “jail” because they sometimes don’t listen. One thing is for sure, I would NEVER, ever let my future children be taken away from my family and go to “prison”.

  It's not a school, 4 classes of 8 students of all ages and schooling at different levels in the same class.... start the school transport which takes more than 1 month to have the service in addition to making the wrong choice address and take students who are late for school! And the physical education classes are Max 2 hours per week if the student meets the requirements well otherwise it's a walk in the schoolyard With a speaker without contact with his peers lasting 15 minutes! Then we wonder why they are Hyper-Active and that they are full of drugs!!! After 5 months since I moved my contact details were still not up to date with the school but with the teacher yes... no communication between them! Pitiful school for our young people, strongly discouraged.

  The educators of this youth center are incompetent. Lots of favoritism and lack of respect towards young people, no professionalism. Some allowed themselves to insult young people and others had power “trips”. I was at the solstice 8 months and the majority of educators were doing their job poorly.
